There’s a great resource on the web, called Food Babe. Vani Hari is the founder and here is her website. She is an advocate for us all and on a mission to expose the dangerous additives and processes used on our food supply.

On her site, you can learn about so called ‘natural’ foods, GMO’s, natural flavors and other substances added to our food supply that we’re not told about. Some of them are quite dangerous and certainly aren’t food, like Azodicarbonamide. This substance is found in our food supply and also in your yoga mat. Yes, you read that right, yoga mats.

So, if you haven’t already, take a look at her website, explore, you might find out something helpful. Information is golden especially when it comes to food, as the food we eat becomes our body, right? She’s out there seeking the truth and educating the public about food, and I’m all about being informed.

 

So, let me ask you this:

 

  • What food have you found out about that you thought was healthy, but turned out to be not so healthy for you?
  • What are you including in your diet that feels really healthy instead?
