I hear all the time about how hard it is when Girl Scout cookies come out and when they do they’re everywhere. Do you resist them altogether or try to have a small amount? What do you do?
I feel that freedom to eat just one is not a luxury but a birthright. You deserve to be able to eat one and be done and not obsess but have peace.
Here’s a Testimonial from a client that had a sweet tooth, and after working with me, she has a feeling of peace with cookies. She’s able to eat them, but stop sooner than she did in the past. She feels in charge of her eating instead of in battle with her sweet tooth. I’m so grateful to her for sharing her experiences here with you:
‘I’ve always had a sweet tooth. And as I whipped through a box of Girl Scout cookies earlier this year, I realized it was a little out of control. I did some food craving sessions with Kara and was amazed at the immediate shifts I experienced. Right away I noticed that when I did eat sweets, my taste buds felt neutralized. It was like I didn’t have to have another cookie – one was enough.
I love that in working with Kara, it’s not about giving up foods I enjoy, rather it’s about not feeling run by food anymore. Kara’s calming and caring demeanor made me feel totally comfortable throughout the entire process. She’s supportive and non-judgmental, which is great when you’re sharing your personal habits and feelings around a sometimes sensitive subject. If you want to change your relationship with food, please contact Kara.‘

So, if you have a sweet tooth and wish you didn’t or wish you could cut down on sweets, there’s a way out of this habit pattern for you.
There is a solution for cookie cravings, and it’s as simple one.
Consider that you could be free of cravings, be at peace with cookies, and have the choice to eat one or not. And if you decided to eat one, that you could easily stop and feel satisfied with that one cookie. If you decided against a cookie, you could move onto something else without a second thought. Imagine that you don’t have to experience ‘food comas’ and regret of overeating cookies?
How would it feel to make satisfaction and being in charge of your eating, your reality?
I help people find this inner peace with cookies. It’s my hope that peace with cookies, or peace with chocolate or peace with pasta becomes the norm, not the rare exception in our society.
What would it feel like to live in a society where eating is celebrated and enjoyed, and guilt, regret and struggle are replaced with satisfaction?
I know it’s possible, and it’s going to happen one person at a time. Will you be one of those people experiencing peace with food? I sure hope so …
